Service Level Agreement
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This Service Level Agreement (“SLA”) sets out the availability Fraud Filter commits to for the Fraud Filter API, how we measure it, and what you get if we fall short. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Live status and uptime history are on our status page.
Contents
01What’s covered
This SLA covers the Fraud Filter API: the authenticated scan, batch, stream-ingest and reputation-lookup endpoints you call with an API key (the “Covered Service”). It does not cover the website and dashboards, the free website demo, the Telegram and WhatsApp bots, email and push notifications, webhooks you receive from us, or features marked beta or preview.
Service credits apply to accounts on a paid monthly subscription (for example Growth or Premium). Free and pay-as-you-go accounts get the same uptime target but are not eligible for credits.
02Uptime commitment
We will make the Covered Service available at least 99.5% of the time in each calendar month (UTC). That allows about 3 hours 36 minutes of downtime in a 30-day month.
03How we measure it
Monthly Uptime % = (total minutes in the month − Downtime minutes) ÷ total minutes in the month × 100.
Downtime is any period of at least 5 consecutive minutes in which the Covered Service fails our automated availability checks — the same checks shown for “Scam-check API” on the status page — or returns server errors (HTTP 5xx) to substantially all valid requests, excluding the events in section 04. A slower response, or a result produced by a backup detection model, is not Downtime.
If your records differ from ours, send us your request logs with your claim and we’ll review them in good faith.
04Exclusions
Downtime does not include unavailability caused by:
- scheduled maintenance announced on the status page at least 48 hours ahead, up to 4 hours per month;
- your own systems, network or integration, including invalid or revoked API keys, malformed requests, or requests over your plan’s quota or rate limits (HTTP 4xx such as 401, 403, 422 or 429);
- suspension of your account under the Terms of Service, or non-payment;
- events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or network failures outside our hosting providers, natural disasters, acts of government, or attacks such as denial-of-service, provided we took reasonable steps to mitigate them;
- features marked beta or preview, or use of the Service against its documentation.
05Service credits
If Monthly Uptime falls below the commitment, eligible accounts can claim a credit on that month’s subscription fee for the affected account:
| Monthly Uptime | Service credit |
|---|---|
| Below 99.5% but at least 99.0% | 10% of the monthly fee |
| Below 99.0% but at least 95.0% | 25% of the monthly fee |
| Below 95.0% | 50% of the monthly fee |
Credits are applied to a future invoice or renewal; they are not paid out in cash, can’t be transferred, and total credits for a month never exceed 50% of that month’s fee.
06How to claim
Email info@fraudfilter.space within 30 days after the end of the affected month, with your account email, the dates and times (UTC) of the unavailability, and any request IDs or logs you have. We’ll confirm the outcome within 15 business days and, if eligible, apply the credit to your next invoice or renewal.
07Sole remedy
Service credits are your sole and exclusive remedy for any failure to meet this SLA.
08Changes
We may update this SLA. We’ll change the date above and, for changes that reduce your protection, give at least 30 days’ notice. A change never reduces the commitment for a month that has already started.
