Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Fraud Filter collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, dashboard, and API (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Contents
01What we collect
- Account information — your email address and authentication details when you create an account.
- Content you submit — the messages, emails, listings, URLs, and images you send us to check.
- Usage & technical data — API usage counts, timestamps, request metadata, and basic device/browser information needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Billing data — plan and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
02How we use it
- To provide the Service — run your checks and return results;
- To meter usage against your plan and process billing;
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms;
- To improve detection using aggregated, de-identified signals;
- To communicate with you about your account and support requests.
We do not sell your personal information.
03Content you scan
Content you submit is processed to produce a result. We use it to operate and improve detection, and we do not sell it or share it except with the service providers listed below who help us run the Service.
04Service providers
We rely on a small set of third-party processors to run the Service. They process data only on our instructions and under their own security and privacy commitments:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and file storage |
| Vercel | Website and API hosting |
| Google Cloud Vision | Reverse-image lookups |
| Sightengine | Deepfake / AI-generated image analysis |
| AI model providers | Text scam analysis |
| Payment processor | Subscription and credit billing |
| Email provider | Transactional email (keys, receipts, support) |
05Data retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and security purposes. Uploaded images are deleted after the check. Scan logs and usage records are retained to operate the Service and may be de-identified for analytics. You can request deletion of your account data as described below.
06Sharing
We share information only: with the service providers above; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect the rights, safety, and property of Fraud Filter, our users, or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you.
07Security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and scoped API keys — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials and API keys confidential.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email info@fraudfilter.space. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
09Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use them to sell your data. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.
10Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed in these locations.
12Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
